Good Friday

Since I'm on Disability, I went to Stations of the cross at noon, and made my confession.

For the rest of you, to remember the 3 hours of darkness in the middle of the day, perhaps The Man In Black says it best.

Glad you were feeling well enough to go to church today, and to post, Hank.

There was a Good Friday "Fest" on Facebook today. My uncle Tom reminisced that when he was young, saloons in Buffalo were closed from 12-3. I commented that my Mom didn't watch her soaps on Good Friday. Another commented that the kids had to be quiet that afternoon. That was nigh on impossible to enforce in my house. Valerie, just back from a whirlwind Holy Week visit to Buffalo, went to her own church for Good Friday and, coincidentally, posted a link to another Cash song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TXV_JLPF2kY.
