At least that's what a lot of the commenters say at the YouTube page for this video. Maybe if I had one of these, suitably modified to reduce burn marks on my carpeting, I could keep the animals off the furniture while I was at work.
That would be cool in any caliber.

Given that that thing is apparently supposed to be used in space, I'm having a hard time understanding the relevance of the demonstration in the video. Although from the looks of it, it would make a GREAT anti-personnel weapon.

Controlability? If it were in space, the "bottom" thruster would be moving it "up", but so what? Just turn that sucker off if you wanted to do the same thing in space. There's also probably a "top" thruster. What I wonder is if it was on a pre-programmed set of maneuvers, or if it was steering "toward" something that was being fed into its sensors.
