Why Roaming?

Obama_2 Wyoming_3

I was traveling on I-75 here in Kentucky today when I saw an unusual sight. It was a vehicle with a Wyoming license plate and an Obama bumper sticker. Talk about an unlikely pairing! Only Utah voted more strongly Republican in the last presidential election. Perhaps the owner of that vehicle knew better than to be home with that bumper sticker. Maybe they've been kicked out of the state and they are looking for a new home. It was a minivan after all. I hope this person kept going. Ohio was only another hour away.

I hope they don't stop in Ohio. There's still hope for that state in the next election. Go to a state that's out of play for the Republicans. Head to New York.

To complete the surreal picture, was there a surfboard strapped to the roof?

It was just a middle-aged couple (no kids with them), just wandering the country looking for a home where they will be accepted. They did pass me while I was going close to 80mph, so they were in a hurry.
