The "World's Best Card Trick"? Feh! What was the guy risking, a paper cut? Here's a real man's trick!
[Not for the squeamish. Hat Tip - Don.]
That guy bugs me -- not for the tricks, which are almost always impressive, but for the theatrics and "goth" persona that accompany his tricks. Not to mention the obnoxious camera work and music which inevitably accompanies his "street shows".
That being said... any theories? The few tricks he's revealed typically involve a number of props when it's not just simple sleight-of-hand, but that's one heck of a prop if that's the case here.

I think recovering the quarter must be slight of hand. How exactly, I don't know.
It's the theatrics surrounding a probably simple trick that are truly impressive. For instance, I think his arm is actually covered with a skin-looking sleeve (whose ends are covered by the wristband and upper sleeve) which he cuts into. The quarter moves by.....
Oh hell, I just watched it again, and I have no clue. Seems like the wrong color for fresh blood though.

I don't watch whatever show this guy is on. I've only ever seen him once or twice before, usually on YouTube videos that somebody forwards me a link to. He looks like Steve Tyler without the age-rutted face and inflatable lips. The music is a little annoying, yeah, but the trick is cool. I think it must be some kind of fake skin.
