More Good News

Lawmakers in Nebraska have just approved a bill which would allow concealed carry of firearms.

"Gov. Dave Heineman has said he would sign the measure into law.

When he does, 40 states will have so-called "right to carry" laws, according to the National Rifle Association. Eight have limited concealed-weapons laws.

Illinois and Wisconsin do not allow concealed weapons."

The next step is to improve on some of the restrictions within these laws.

Indeed. Some states need to clean up their concealed carry laws. In New York, you must be free from any blemish on your driving record, and be an ordained Mormon priest or a "Founder's Level" donor to Hillary Clinton's Senate campaing. The weapon you carry can be no higher than .17 caliber. The gun must have a 2 key child safety lock. You may only carry one bullet and that bullet may not be in the gun.
