When I was a kid, there was a game manufactured by Milton Bradley called 'Time Bomb'. It was a hard plastic ball with a fuse on top. The 'fuse' was actually a wind-up mechanism. Winding the fuse started a ticking sound and gave you a certain amount of time before the bomb went off. Players would stand in a circle and toss the bomb around until the fuse unwound, at which time the ball sounded a loud 'pop'. If the bomb went off in your hands, you were out of that round. The last one standing won the round.
Like most games manufactured in the 60s, Time Bomb was easily breakable and dangerous (remember 'Jarts'?) One of my cousins chipped a tooth when she tried to catch the ball during 'panic time' as the fuse wound down. A deep seated fear of injury (in one form or another) explains why I try to avoid internet tag games. But it seems our good friend Boris has tagged Mazurland to come up with a cartoon involving a bomb for his Comic Chain Reaction. Well, here's Mazurland's contribution:
Like a chain email, internet tags are easily breakable. We'll see if this one ends up being dangerous. Now, let's see...Whom do we tag?
21st Century Paladin
Sean Gleeson (You've done some great comics. Maybe you can try out your Dürer fonts.)
The Only Red Shirt In The Landing Party
Flight Log
Army of Mom
[Thanks and apologies to Matt Mazur, whose cartoon I modified.]
I'm trying to interpret the cartoon. Does the bomb-holder with suitcase in hand represent Muslim immigrants to Western Europe? If so, why does he look like Moe from the Three Stooges?
Does the man in the foreground represent apathetic (or oblivious) European natives? If so, why does he look so.... Muslim?
Or am I wrong, and does the suitcase represent the UN?

Oh, and why does the bomb have a price tag on it? Does that represent the price we all pay for religious intolerance?

Maybe the guy with the hooded sweatshirt is the Unabomber ;^P He thinks the guy with the suit case is a wannabe bomb maker trying to make a fast buck selling shoddy merchandise!

Hmm... How did you modify matt's cartoon (I'm assuming it's the "moe" character)? Can we see the origional?

I added the Moe character. Matt's original is everything to the right of Moe including Moe's word balloon. In Matt's original, the word balloon just came out of blank space to the left.

I'm perfectly willing to tolerate any religion that doesn't slaughter in the name of their God. Crusades were a long time ago---

I'm confused (a simple task, granted). What am I supposed to do now that I've been "tagged"?
