My old friend, Seattle blogger Jim Miller, might be described as a conservative voice of moderation. Jim usually comes out with measured analyses on issues and events of the day. But that doesn't stop him from also coming up with some unusual insights as well. Jim is optimistic about the choice of Harriet Miers to replace Sandra Day O'Connor. Some of the reasons for Jim's optimism seem quirky (until you read the reasoning behind them): she has a degree in mathematics; she is a 'church lady' who has been charitable with her time and money; she has experience both as an elected and an appointed official; she annoys law professors. For now, all this is divination, and we'll be exposed to much more entrail reading in the weeks to come. Hold on to your tea leaves!
I have to admit I was impressed with her degree in Mathematics. I like the devotion to a discipline of logic and inalienable fact.
Rush made the point the the one best reason to support her is that Bush knows her well. That's all we have to go on. Hopefully, it'll prove right in the long run....

I like her loyalty to one man. He may be the President, but why not shoot for the stars! ;)
Though in her personal life, she has apparently not found Mr. Right..... :(
She needs to do something about her eyeliner before those Senate hearings. (Hellooo!!!)

Rationalize away Mazurland. You guys and all of the right are quaking in your boots. Let's see, Harriet once ate a pickle at a State Fair after she got off the Scrambler. Ahhh-Ha!!, Bush is a genious. You have no clue what you have gotten yourselves into. I'll admit that the Democrats won't know how to handle her. But I can assure you that if both sides know nothing about her, then I might as well have been selected. At least my sexuality can be discerned.
Also, I thought I chased that scamp, Shasha, away with my wit about 6 months ago. I guess she still has a crush on me. Too bad, Slutsha, I have standards.
Chad Out!
PS Chad Rules!
